1. TF2018
South Lancashire 10, TF2081, one of ten Guy BTX with Roe L29/26R bodies new in August 1930 is seen at Atherton. The overhead moves into the centre of the road under the bridge whilst the trolleybus keeps to the nearside because of reduced clearance. This is one which had been rebuilt by Bond, Wythenshawe 1950/1.

2. TF2075
South Lancashire Transport 4, TF2075, on the one way circuit in Atherton High Street. This was one of the least rebuilt of the original fleet of Guy BTX trolleybuses with Roe L27/26R bodies dating from 1930 and was caught on the last Saturday of trolleybus operation.

South Lancashire 18, TF5797, was a Guy BTX with a Roe L29/26R body new in May 1931 rebuilt by Bond, Wythenshawe in 1950/1 which was seen at Swinton Church.

South Lancashire Transport 42, TJ2969, dating from 1933 was from the third batch of Guy trolleybuses, in this case a BT with Roe L24/24R bodywork.

A rear view of South Lancashire 44, TJ3332, one of sixteen Guy BT with Roe L22/26R bodies which were new in September 1933. It is seen at Spinning Jenny Street, Leigh and appears not to have an upper deck emergency exit.

South Lancashire 57, DTC264, a Leyland TTB3 or TTB4 with a Roe H35/29R body new in July 1938 is seen in Leigh.

South Lancashire added six more trolleybuses in 1938 and 58, DTC265, a Leyland TTB3 or TTB4 with a Roe H35/29R body new in July 1938 was caught at Four Lane Ends, Bolton.

9. DTC266
South Lancashire Transport 59, DTC266, a Leyland TTB3 or TTB4 (sources vary) with Roe H35/29R body new in 1938. One of six new that year it is seen at Howell Croft bus station in Bolton on the last Saturday of operation.

10. FTD452
Seen at Spinning Jenny Street, Leigh is South Lancashire 60, FTD452, the first of four Sunbeam Ws with Weymann H30/26R bodies new in 1943. A further two followed in 1944.

11. HTD963
South Lancashire 66, HTD863, was a Karrier MS2 with a Weymann H34/30R body new in 1947 and was the first of the last batch of six trolleybuses to enter service with S.L.T. It is seen ready to leave Spinning Jenny Street, Leigh.

12. HTD963
South Lancashire 66, HTD863, was a Karrier MS2 with a Weymann H34/30R body new in 1947 and was one of six, these being the last new vehicles added to the fleet. It is seen at Atherton Cenotaph.
