Hull 5, KKH650, a 1949 AEC Regal III with Weymann bodywork. This bus was used for many years a non-PSV runabout for the corporation. Now fully restored it is preserved at the Hull Museum of Transport.

Hull bought several batches of second hand AEC Regent III in the nineteen sixties and seen here are two examples 149, BDJ73, is one St Helens famous replica RTs dating from 1950 and 161, OTV164, is an ex Nottingham AEC Regent III with Park Royal body dating from 1954. A further ex Nottingham example is seen on the far left of this line up.

Hull bought a dozen Leyland Panthers over a two year period. 180, GAT180D, dates from 1966 and carries a Roe body. They were regularly used on the North Sea ferry service hence the flags above the destination box

Hull 217, JRH417E, a 1967 Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 with Roe body with Hull's trademark flat windscreen. The streamline livery does not sit very easily on the square lines of the bus.

To the left is 254, PRH254G, from the same batch of Atlanteans carrying the final Hull livery with the blue extended to the lower deck windows and no red lining out
