 1. 506
Guernsey Railways 14 (506), a Vixen new in 1947 with Duple B35F body and withdrawn in 1964. GR had 10 of these buses (one of which served initially in the Guernsey Motors fleet). Some of these lasted until 1967 but, although several ended their days in Priaulx' scrapyard, by 1978 only this and a Victor remained there.

 4. 1787
The little Watson's Garage Ltd finally sold out to Guernsey Railway Co Ltd in February 1978. 20 (1787) was a 1954 Albion Victor FT39AN with Reading B36F body (to a square style, not the older-looking curved design favoured by Guernsey Motors/Railways). It never gained GR colours, being sold in 1980 for preservation on the mainland although it subsequently returned to Guernsey.

 8. 1982
Guernsey Motors and Guernsey Railways were a jointly run company who for a number of years used different liveries for the two branches of the company. Seen at St Peter Port in 1977 is a red Albion Victor with Heaver bodywork of the Motors fleet, 70, 1982, and a Bedford J4E25 with Reading body which has more than a passing resemblance to the Victor, 105, 19663. The Albion dates from the late fifties and the Bedford from the mid sixties

 11. 11675
Albion Nimbus 89 (11675) was one of many such vehicles with Reading bodywork of a style dating back to the 1940s/50s, this one having been new to Guernsey Motors Ltd in 1962. Both the main Guernsey companies had been under the control of the Red & White United Transport group since 1949 (GR) and 1951 (GM) with the resultant standardisation on Albions. Acquired by GR in 1973, 89 is seen here after the GM and GR fleets merged.

 13. 28404
Trade plates T145 were carried by this shortened Albion Victor/Heaver, originally no.36 in the GR fleet and new in 1950. Converted for towing use in 1974, it was reported quite recently on the UK mainland with travellers. The Bedford alongside, 121 (28404), was an SB5 with Wadham Stringer B39F bodywork new in 1976 and carrying the Guernsey Railways green livery first adopted when the fleets merged under new ownership in 1976.
