This 1935 AEC 661T seen in Union Street was new with an English Electric H60R body, altered to H58R about 1936, but was rebodied in 1947 with an NCB body seating H30/26R and carried fleet number 625, AAK427.

Wartime Bradford Daimler CWA6 479, DKY479, new in November 1943 with Duple UH30/26R body is seen in Manchester Road. Upholstered seats were fitted from withdrawn vehicles in the early post war period and it lasted until May 1958 after which it passed to Bayliss, Creca in Scotland for further use.

Seen in Union Street eight days after entering service with Bradford is one of the twenty-five ex-London AECs, this one having a Park Royal body of the standard H30/26R form. Fleet number 418 was carried by HLX232 (Ex-London RT415).

Bradford had only six Crossleys and the last of them 523, EKU523, a DD42/7 with Crossley's own bodywork new in 1948 with H30/26R body but reseated to H32/26R in 1956, was caught here in Union Street.

Bradford bought a batch of Alexander bodied Leyland Atlanteans to dual door layout in 1971 to complete the trolleybus replacement which occured the following year. One such 453, SKY453J, was sold to Hull along with several others after withdrawal by West Yorks PTE.
