With a Jensen B38F body, West Bromwich 107, BEA37, was a Daimler COG6, one of two new in 1940. After withdrawal in 1958 it was rebuilt as a handicapped persons bus, with a hydraulic lift at the rear and entered service as such in July 1959 with West Bromwich Corporation Welfare Services as seen in this view taken at Oak Lane garage.

Originally carrying a Brush H30/26R body when new in 1945 West Bromwich 123, BEA723, was rebodied in 1953 with an Alexander H30/26R body. It was a Daimler CWA6 and is seen at the Oak Lane garage.

DEA546, new in 1948, was number 146 in the West Bromwich fleet and was a Daimler CVG6 with a Metro Cammell H30/26R body, one of ten new that year, although the last four did not enter service until 1949. It is seen at the Oak Lane garage.

One of two Guy Vixen Specials acquired from London Transport Executive in 1961, West Bromwich MXX340, is seen inside the garage at Oak Lane. This one had run for the Corporation Health Department as number 49 from 1961 before joining the bus fleet as number 252 in 1963.

The three liveries of West Bromwich. Left was 121H, TEA121G, a Daimler Fleetline with ECW low-height body of 1969 in the last West Bromwich livery before the West Midlands PTE takeover. Centre and right were Daimler CVG6s with MCW H63R bodies of 1958/9. 207H, SEA207, was in the WMPTE colours and 215, UEA215, was in the traditional and attractive West Bromwich livery.

West Bromwich 101, NEA101F, was used as a demonstrator when new, Southend being among the operators it visited. It carried a non standard white and blue livery and still had this when photographed in West Bromwich early in WMPTE days in late autumn 1970, possibly 2nd October.
