6. 164BUP
Venture Transport 200, 164BUP, was an Albion Aberdonian with Willowbrook B45F bodywork, formerly an unregistered demonstrator dating from 1958. It entered service in January 1959 and was Venture's first bus to have a three-track number blind, somewhat superfluous for a company whose highest numbered service during its independent existence was 88. It was allocated to Blackhill depot and I well remember it coming through our village displaying 500 instead of 005.
