With a Roe L27/28R body, GNN134, a Guy Arab II new in May 1944, had been D34 in the East Midland fleet. It was rebodied with another Roe L27/28R body in 1954 and was acquired by Silcox, Pembroke Dock in 1960 becoming number 52.

Silcox, Pembroke Dock 23, LDE950, a Bristol K6G, is seen here at the garage with the 1948 Willowbrook L31/28R body from 47, RC4633, which had been fitted by June 1961 in place of the Davies H33/26R body it carried when it entered service in February 1950.

Seen at the Pembroke Dock garage of Silcox is number 25, ODE402, a Bristol K6G the chassis of which was new in 1950 and which had not been bodied until July 1952 when it was fitted with a 1940 Metro Cammell FH32/28R body ex-Birmingham trolleybus 83 (FOK83).

Number 3 in the Silcox, Pemroke Dock fleet, NDE330 was a Bristol L5G with a Silcox DP39F body which had been new in March 1951.

Seen at the garage in Pembroke Dock is Silcox 5, NDE332, a Bristol L5G which had been new in June 1951 with a Silcox FDP39F body (according to the P.S.V. Circle Fleet History) although NDE 330/1 (L5G) had Silcox DP39F bodies and NDE 616 (LL5G) had a Silcox DP41F body. In June 1961 NDE332 received a new Marshall FDP39F body and is seen here at the garage.

New in June 1951 as Silcox number 5, NDE332 was a Bristol L5G with a Silcox FDP39F body. In June 1961 it was fitted with a new Marshall FDP39F body.

One of two Bristol K6Gs new in June 1952, ODE401, Silcox, Pembroke Dock 24, had a secondhand Metro-Cammell FH32/28R body from Birmingham trolleybus 90 (FOK90) when new. It was rebodied in 1961/2 with the Willowbrook L27/28R body from Silcox's A.E.C. number 42 (RC4630).

Silcox, Pembroke Dock 24 a Bristol K6G ODE401 dating from 1952 was fitted, when new, with a secondhand body from a Birmingham trolleybus but was rebodied in 1961/2 with a 1948 Willowbrook L27/28R body ex Trent 42 (RC4630) and is seen in the garage yard.

New in April 1953 as North Western 615, FJA615 became Silcox, Pembroke Dock 63 in 1962. It was a Leyland PSU1/15 Royal Tiger with a Leyland C41C body.

HUH25, a Leyland PSUC1/1T Tiger Cub with a Weymann B44F body had been new as Western Welsh 1025 in December 1953. It had passed from Western Welsh to Eynon, Trimsaran in October 1965 before becoming Silcox, Pembroke Dock 76 the following year.

OFM690 was new in February 1953 as Crosville, Chester UG318, later becoming CUG318, and was a Bristol LS6G with an Eastern Coachworks C37F body.

Acquired in 1970 from Bristol O.C. C8127 to become Silcox, Pembroke Dock 96, OHY984, seen at the garage, was a Bristol KSW6G with an Eastern Coachworks H32/28R body which had been new in August 1953.

New in July 1954 as Northern General 1545, DCN845 was acquired by Silcox, Pembroke Dock in 1968 and numbered 1. It was a Leyland PSUC1/1 Tiger Cub with a Saro B44F body.

Originally numbered 1047 in the Western Welsh fleet, HUH47 became number 72 in the Silcox, Pembroke Dock fleet in 1965. It was a Leyland PSUC1/1T Tiger Cub with a Weymann B44F body which had been new in January 1954.

20. OTT63
OTT63 was a Bristol LS5G with ECW B45F body, new to Southern National, no. 1709, in March 1954. In 1960 it was converted for OMO and reseated to B41F and in November 1969 it was transferred to the Western National fleet. Withdrawn in September 1971 it passed, via Martin, dealer, Weaverham, to Silcox, Pembroke Dock, in November 1971 as no. 104, and gained their red and cream livery as seen here, taken at an unknown location in South West Wales.

Silcox Motor Coach Co Ltd 104, OTT63, a 1954 Bristol LS5G with ECW B41F bodywork purchased from Western National (1709) via Martin's of Weaverham (dealer) in November 1971.

PVO624 was a Leyland PSUC1/2T Tiger Cub with a Burlingham Seagull C41C body new as East Midland C24 in July 1954. It was acquired by Silcox, Pembroke Dock and numbered 20 in 1964 and was rebodied with a Plaxton Panorama II C43F body in February 1967.

SDE400, Silcox, Pembroke Dock number 9, was a Leyland PSUC1/2 Tiger Cub with a Burlingham Seagull C35C body new in April 1954. It had been reseated to C41C in April 1964.

UDE111, Silcox, Pembroke Dock 29, had been acquired from Morrison, Tenby in December 1958. It was an A.E.C. MU3RV Reliance with a Plaxton Venturer III C39C body which had been new to Morrison in May 1955.

Crosville DLB722, VFM587, was a Bristol LD6B new in May 1955 with an Eastern Coachworks H33/25RD body. Crosville who had, at some time, fitted a Gardner 6LW engine, withdrew it in August 1969 and it is seen here as Silcox, Pembroke Dock 89 having been acquired in 1969.

WHN122 was a Bristol LS5G with an Eastern Coachworks B45F body acquired from United Automobile Services in 1970. Silcox, Pembroke Dock numbered it 94.

Silcox Motor Coach Co Ltd were known for a sizeable fleet of second hand Bristols purchased between 1969 and 1973 including a small number of double deckers. On the left is 103, XFM180, a 1955 LD6G Lodekka with ECW H33/27RD bodywork purchased in June 1970 from Crosville where it was DLB769.

Two Leyland PSUC1/1 Tiger Cubs were acquired by Silcox, Pembroke Dock from North Western Road Car Company in 1970 following the three acquired in 1969. KDB637, like the others, had Weymann B44F bodywork new in 1956 and became number 92.

Acquired from Hall Bros., South Shields in 1961, ACU215 was a Leyland PSUC1/2 Tiger Cub with a Duple Midland Donington C41F body new in June 1958. It ran in Hall's livery for about a year and was Silcox number 56.

This Austin LD05AR with an Austin/Silcox B14F body (although the P.S.V. Circle Fleet History gives it, by means of a wonderful typo, as B41F) was new as Silcox, Pembroke Dock 58, 120LDE, in July 1961.

Silcox, Pembroke Dock 61, 50NDE, was a Leyland L2 Leopard with a Duple Britannia C45F body new in January 1962. It is seen in Cheltenham approaching the entrance to the Coach Station.

Seen in the Coach Station at Cheltenham is Silcox, Pembroke Dock 62, 734PDE, a Leyland PSU3/3R Leopard with a Willowbrook C51F body which had been new in August 1962. This was the first 36 feet long vehicle in the Silcox fleet.

Duple Commander C51F bodywork was fitted to Silcox, Pembroke Dock 69, 614XDE, which was a Leyland PSU3/3RT Leopard new in October 1964. It had been exhibited at the 1964 Commercial Motor Show at Earls Court.

United bought their first Bristol VR in 1969, 601 WHN411G. After withdrawal in 1980 the bus had a number of owners including Crosville and Lincolnshire before joining the fleet of Silcox of Pembroke Dock in 1986 who ran it for 11 years until 1997 when it was acquired for preservation.

Silcox, Pembroke Dock 102, VDE874J, was the second Leyland PSU3A/4R Leopard to be delivered to the fleet in late 1970 and was fitted with a Plaxton Elite Express C53F body, eligible for the bus-grant scheme of the time by virtue of the wide entrance with the two piece doors amongst other requirements.
