JA7591, a Leyland TS7, had been new in 1936 with an English Electric B35C body as Stockport 191, but had, after withdrawal, been converted for welfare use in 1962 and passed to the Hospital Committee for use as a disabled persons bus and is seen at Winkleigh.

Stockport 343, PJA913 was the first of ten Longwell Green H32/28R bodied Leyland PD2/30s delivered in 1960 and fitted, unusually - although not so for Stockport, with wind down window ventilators to the saloon windows.

Stockport Corporation bought a batch of Leyland Titan PD2/30s in 1960 that carried unusually for Stockport Longwell Green bodywork which carries more than a hint of ECW about it. 347, PJA917, is seen as 5947 in the Greater Manchester fleet in 1978 shortly before withdrawal.

AEC brought out the lowheight Renown chassis as a replacement for the poor selling Bridgemaster in 1963. AEC built two pre-production examples in 1962 as demonstrators. One of these was 8071ML with front entrance Park Royal body; when new this bus spent several months on loan to the country area of London Transport. Alongside is Stockport Corporation 71, KJA871F, a 1968 Leyland Titan PD3/14 with East Lancs bodywork carrying GMT livery and fleet number 5871.

Stockport stuck doggedly to the Leyland Titan for new deliveries until the end of its separate existence in 1969 although the last deliveries were 30 foot long PD3s some of which had front entances. Seen working the free shuttle between the Museum of Transport and the city centre in Manchester is former Stockport 71, KJA871F, a 1968 Leyland Titan PD3/14 with East Lancs body.

Stockport Corporation bought Leyland Titans until they became part of the new SELNEC PTE in 1969. 91, MJA891G, is a Leyland Titan PD3/14 with East Lancs bodywork of a very traditional style and dates from 1969. This bus is now preserved.

Stockport 92, MJA892G, a 1969 Leyland Titan PD3/14 with East Lancs front entrance body was one of the first six front entrance buses bought by Stockport. They were also the last buses delivered to Stockport before it became part of SELNEC PTE.

GMT 5894, MJA894G, a 1969 Leyland PD3/East Lancs ex-Stockport 94, by this time one of only four Stockport PD3s remaining. An evening peak-hour working which ran out as a 358 via Marple and returned as a 360 via Hazel Grove, the main operation of both routes had long been OMO.
