Seen at Beamish prior to the opening of the circular tram route is this former Sheffield tram masquerading as a Gatehead car. It was later rebuilt with a top deck and painted in Sheffield livery and given its original Sheffield number 264.
The number it carries here is the number it was given in a renumbering exercise by Sheffield in the 1930s. It is currently under further restoration at Beamish
