SCT '61
Portsmouth City Operator Index

Given the problems that the early all metal vee-fronted Leyland bodies were reported to have suffered, Portsmouth's four examples seem to have had remarkably long service lives from 23 to 29 years (albeit that 127 & 128 were rebuilt by the Corporation in 1957). The first to be withdrawn was 129, RV6372, in 2/58, its engine and other parts being used for spares for the re-engined 1948 Crossleys.
The stripped remains hung around until they went for scrap 1/65. Roger photographed it at North End Junction in May 1954.
