Seen travelling along a deserted Piccadilly was Manchester 2161, KNA601, a Crossley DD42/8S with a Crossley H32/26R body new in July 1949.
This was the second in the last batch of Crossleys for Manchester which had fleet numbers 2160 to 2219.
