Manchester 11, NNB111, a Northern Counties B42R bodied Leyland PSU1/13 Royal Tiger new in July 1953, is seen in Parker Street, Manchester operating route 31 to Bramhall.
There were eighteen of these and “The Manchester Bus”, Eyre & Heaps,1989 (ISBN 086317 151 6) records that in 1963 12-18 were fitted with doors at the top of the entrance stairway to reduce draughts. After withdrawal in November 1967 it passed to Ascough (dealer), Dublin and then to Dodd (dealer), Dromara.
