Gash of Newark were well known for their long lived Daimler CVD6s. Seen after withdrawal and preservation is DD1, KAL578, which was new in 1948 and rebodied by Massey in 1958 replacing the Strachan original body.

Gash, Newark DD3, KAL580, was a Daimler CVD6, new in 1948 with a Strachan L27/28R body. It was rebodied with a Massey H33/28RD body in December 1958 and is seen here in Huntingdon Street Bus Station in Nottingham.

Seen at the garage is Gash, Newark DD6, KNN959, which had a Roberts H30/26R body on its Daimler CVD6 chassis when new in August 1949, platform doors being fitted in July 1957.

Gash, Newark D05, LAL558, was a Daimler CVD6 with a Burlingham C35F body which had been new in March 1950 seen behind Gash's garage with a Timpson. London S.E.6 Duple Northern bodied A.E.C. Reliance in the background.

Seen on a visit to Gash's garage is Gash, Newark DD7, LNN353, which was a Daimler CVD6, with a Duple L27/26RD body new in August 1950.

Gash, Newark DD7, LNN353, a Daimler CVD6DD new in 1950 with a Duple L27/26RD body had been ordered by Skill, Nottingham and was intended to be 30, LTO30, but was sold to Gash before delivery.

LRR403, a Daimler CVD6 with Duple L53RD body was operated by Classique Coaches, Paisley as part of their operations using preserved coaches and buses for Scottish Tours.

Seen in the yard behind Gash's garage is Gash, Newark DD8, LRR403, the second Daimler CVD6 with a Duple L27/26RD body which was new in August 1950. This had been intended to be Skill, Nottingham LTO 30 but was sold to Gash without being operated by Skill.

Gash, Newark D06, NAL782, was the first of a pair of Daimler D650HS coaches with Burlingham Seagull C41C bodies new in May and July 1952 respectively, seen on a visit to Gash's garage.

This Daimler CVG6 with Massey 61 seat bodywork was new to Gash of Newark in 1954. After a career with Gash that lasted to the late seventies, it entered preservation and is seen wearing a very incongruous destination blind in Halifax.

Gash's garage forms the backdrop to Gash, Newark B14, RVO845, which was the second of the pair of Bedford SBG coaches with Yeates Riviera C36F bodies new in March 1955. Its companion had been withdrawn in December 1964.

Seen in the garage entrance is Gash, Newark DD4, KNN622, a Daimler CVD6 which, when new in April 1949, had a Strachans L27/28R body. In December 1958 it was rebodied with a Massey H33/28RD body.
