Economic, Whitburn, KUP799 was numbered 10 in the fleet of E W Wilson. It is an Albion Valiant CX39N with C33F bodywork by local firm Associated Coach Builders.

This Albion Valiant CX38N was new to north east independent Economic of Whitburn in 1950. Numbered 10, KUP799, in the Economic fleet, rare ACB is carried. This coach later ran for Don Everall of Wolverhampton and is now preserved.

New to Economic of Whitburn as their number 1, VUP327 was a Leyland Tiger Cub with Crossley B44F bodywork on Park Royal frames, new in 1957 on a chassis built in 1955. It is seen in a semi derelict condition at the home of its second owner, The Eden of West Auckland

A rear view of Economic 5 a 1963 AEC Reliance with Plaxton bodywork. At some point in its career, this bus was re-registered as WNL 259A as carried here but its original number 8031PT is usually displayed when attending rallies. The small sliding ventilator in the emergency door is noteworthy.
