Chiltern Queens, Woodcote HRK906 was a Leyland CPO1 Comet with a Strachan C37F body new to Homeland Tours, Croydon in July 1950, passing to Chiltern Queens in July 1955.

Chiltern Queens, Woodcote acquired HRK901 from Homeland Tours, Croydon to whom it had been new, in June 1955. It was one of seven Leyland CPO1 Comets with Strachans bodies new to Homeland in March 1950 (HRK 901-902) and June 1950 (HRK 903-907).

Plaxton Highway B45F bodywork was fitted to NBW407, an A.E.C. 2MU3RA Reliance of Chiltern Queens, Woodcote new in August 1958 and seen here in Reading on the route to Didcot.

When browsing for suitable views, my first thought about this AEC Reliance of Chiltern Queens (my only one), was not sufficiently interesting until I read that this bus had the Duple Midland body of the famous Dennis Pelican (530BPG). YNX478 was spotted outside Reading Railway Station. More details would be appreciated.

New to Chiltern Queens of Woodcote in 1972, AEC Reliance EUD256K carries Plaxton Derwent bodywork of a type more usually seen in the north of England and was relatively rare in southern England.

Plaxton Derwent bodies appear relatively rare in the Home Counties, but Chiltern Queens, Woodcote chose one as B47F for EUD256K their AEC Reliance 6MU3R new in March 1972. It's framed by early car park automation at the western end of their trunk service A to Wallingford and Reading.
