In the first half of the 1970s, Prance of Cardiff could be relied to send something interesting on a trip to Weston - either ex Scarlet, Minehead AEC Regal III/Harrington KYD151 or this much newer ex Cardiff Corporation AEC Bridgmaster TUH363. TUH363 was new to Cardiff as no 363 in March 1960.
It was one of a batch of 6 (361-366) AEC Bridgmaster/ Park Royal H41/27RD, which were bought specifically for the Cardiff to Tredegar route and were celebrated in Cardiff as being the first Cardiff Corporation double decker buses fitted with power doors. Cardiff withdrew the whole batch at the end of 1971 - quite a short life with them.
Does anyone know if this Bridgmaster or KYD151 are still with us?
