Photographed at the Spath, Uttoxeter garage, Stevenson, Spath 7, FA8424, was a Guy Arab III with a Brush B34F body new in 1946 as Burton 39, which had been acquired in April 1954.

Burton Corporation 63, FA9291, a 1949 Guy B35R bodied Guy Arab III 5LW at the 1971 St. Leger Rally in Doncaster. This was about the time it was withdrawn by Burton and as far as I can find out it was bought with a view to preservation but only the chassis had survived by 2001 when that was scrapped.

Burton-on-Trent 17, FA9717, a Guy Arab III with Davies L27/26R body from 1950 was snapped just in time in the Town Centre. The transparency is now showing signs of deterioration, a warning that they will not last for ever!

Burton joined the trend to saloons in the late sixties when they bought Daimler Fleetline SRG6LW chassis, although later deliveries would revert to double deckers. Single deck Fleetline 103, MFA703G, carries Willowbrook bodywork and dates from 1969.
