Bradford 703, DKY703, a Karrier W of 1945, rebodied in 1960 with an East Lancs H37/29F body, was saved for preservation.
This scene was taken during the second and final Last Trolleybus Weekend tour of the remaining routes, following the withdrawal of scheduled services two days earlier. Eight trolleybuses were required to handle the demand from enthusiasts and local residents. The £1 fare was excellent value, as the vehicles made numerous photo stops en-route.
