Continuing the Grindle theme, here we have Roy Grindle & Son of Cinderford ADG479B, their first 36 footer, a Bedford VAL14/Duple Vega Major, new to them in May 1964. They sold it to Bennett of Gloucester in July 1978. It is parked close behind (a bit too close for a good photograph) a Plaxton bodied coach of their fleet in Locking Road Coach Park, Weston-super-Mare in the summer of 1974.

New in June 1968, these were the first to be delivered in the grey and green livery adopted for the fleet, the change to white/purple being made in 1972.
