1. NLP635
West Mon 20, AEC single decker NLP635, new in 1953 and acquired in 1957. This was an AEC Monocoach with Park Royal B45F body which started life as a demonstrator. I seem to remember this or a similarly numbered vehicle being tried by LT in the 1950s.

Laycock, Barnoldswick 51, CHG748, was a Park Royal B44F bodied AEC Monocoach new in 1954 seen in Skipton Bus Station.

Northern General 1605, DCN905, seen at Marlborough Crescent Bus Station, was an A.E.C. MC3RV Monocoach with a Park Royal B44F body and was one of twenty-five new in 1954.

Alexander Midland, Falkirk MAC29, FMS985, was an AEC MC3RV Monocoach with a Park Royal B45F body and was seen at Kilsyth garage. It had been new in November 1954 as AC29 with Alexander, Falkirk, passing to Alexander Midland in 1961 and receiving the M prefix in 1962.

Alexander Midland, Falkirk MAC36, FWG40, an AEC MC3RV Monocoach with a Park Royal B45F body. It was new in January 1955 as AC36 to Alexander, Falkirk, becoming Alexander Midland MAC36 in May 1961, although the 'M'prefix was not applied until 1962.

Sheffield 'C' fleet 1205, TWJ505, new in June 1955 was an AEC MC3RV Monocoach with a Park Royal B44F body and is seen outside Manchester Exchange Station on route 48 to Sheffield via Woodhead and Stocksbridge.

Booth and Fisher WRA12 was an example of that relatively rare beast, a Park Royal - AEC Monocoach MC3RV with 45 seat bodywork, new in 1955. It survived long enough to be taken over by South Yorkshire PTE but had been withdrawn prior to the allocation of fleet numbers.

Highland B1, KST651, was an AEC Monocoach new in 1957. Whilst most Monocoaches had Park Royal bodies, this was one of those which had Alexander DP41F bodies and it is seen here at Farraline Park Bus Station, Inverness.
