Up until the delivery of the Glasgow Atlanteans in 1962, there were only three of these buses in Scotland. Two were delivered to J Laurie, Hamilton and XVA444 (1960 build) along with 60AVA became part of Central SMT's fleet in 1961 (HR1).
XVA444 eventually found its way into the Grahams of Paisley fleet and is seen here in Hawkhead Road, Paisley, as their L1.
As is well known, the SBG standardised on Daimler Fleetlines in the sixties.
