Western National 997, 533HKJ, a Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 with Metro-Cammell H44/31F bodywork was new in May 1960 to Maidstone & District as their DH533 (later 5533). It was one of a number of Atlanteans transferred between 1975 and 1977.
It is operating the infrequent service from Redruth to Helston; waiting behind is one of the 1966 batch of Bristol SUL4As with ECW B36F bodies which will operate another infrequent service, the short 553 to Radnor.
There is another picture of Western National 997 on the site but that was a very different vehicle.
