Two hundred and twenty Daimler CVD6s with Metro-Cammell H30/24R bodies entered service in 1951 in two batches (2061-2130 with exposed radiators and 2626-2775 with concealed radiators). 2663, JOJ663, seen at Hockley Garage was typical of the second batch of these.
