Halifax Corporation 53, TCP53, a Leyland PD3/4 with Weymann H40/32F body, new 1963.
Following on from recent comments about David Mitchell's superb photo of Halifax 53, here is another of it in colour not long after being repainted in 1971.
Until the takeover of Hebble just a month previously, the Halifax-Northowram Village service 3 had terminated at the end of Towngate, U-turning at the point in the background where the two cars are parked. After that it was renumbered 73, running less frequently, and extending a short distance down The Hough to The Windmill pub - which is what it is doing here.
