Former Halifax 253, RJX253, served several years with Baddeley Bros as their 87 and it lasted long enough to become the second of the batch to be owned by a PTE, with 258 having earlier joined SELNEC PTE having passed through the ownership of Warrington Corporation and Ramsbottom UDC along the way.
I don't believe 253 was actually run by West Yorkshire PTE as it was withdrawn by Baddeley's just before the takeover. It is seen here in Holmfirth's little bus station in August 1974, in the early days of West Yorkshire PTE when Baddeley Brothers was still an independent. Just visible is the rear end of preserved Bolton Crossley DBN 978.
