Halifax J.O.C. 216, LJX216, an AEC Regent V 2D3RA with Metro-Cammell H40/32F body, new in 1960. Withdrawn in 1972 it passed to Priory Garage & Coaches, Leamington who withdrew it in 1976 and it was scrapped by an unidentified dealer in Coventry.
It is seen here working on what was at the time the longest route, the 48/49 Hebden Bridge-Halifax-Brighouse. The 48 followed this road from Hipperholme directly to Brighouse via Slead Syke, whilst the alternate 49 service (as here) turned left a little further along at Hove Edge and deviated via Waring Green and Bonegate Road, following what had originally been the Corporation tram route to Brighouse.
