Huddersfield 639, PVH939, a 1959 Sunbeam S7 with East Lancs H40/32R body.
A poor quality shot taken on a humble Kodak Instamatic, but as a spotty 14 year old nerd it was the only thing I could afford in those days!
I have submitted it in response to Alan's comments about the unsung crews on the bd703 group of photos.
The young conductor (I suppose he will be around the 70 mark now) was Peter Dawson and his regular driver, sat in the cab but not really visible in this shot was John (I think) Foster.
639 is stood at the Outlane terminus during the last week of trolleybus operation July 1968.
The layby on the extreme left which formed part of the turning circle is still there today and looking beyond the extreme left traction pole the M62 motorway now runs.
Other than that very little has changed in this view today.
