Huddersfield Joint Omnibus Committee bought twelve of these quite late AEC Regent III 9613E with East Lancs L30/28R bodies in 1954 and 1955. 234, HVH234, on the left was one of eight new in 1954 whilst 243, JVH373, was the last of the 1955 quartet and features, if I recall correctly, an exhaust brake.
It's been some considerable time since they could be seen together as 234 ceased to be active in the late 'seventies or early 1980s. However, it's possible it may happen again in the future as both are still with us. I'm not quite sure of the location - it was taken on the Huddersfield parade but it doesn't like a bit like Greenhead Park. It must be the start of the run - I'll do a Donald and let someone tell me where I was!
