West Yorkshire PTE 4191, PVH991, a 1959 Guy Arab IV with East Lancs H37/28R body.
One of two Arabs new to Huddersfield JOC as 190/1 PVH 990/1 in 1959 and fitted with the, then fairly new Gardner 6LX unit. It is seen in PTE days, not long before withdrawal, still in the simplified Huddersfield Corporation livery, complete with coat of arms over the fleetname, and still looking very smart. It passed into preservation but was sadly scrapped a few years later, a great loss to the preservation movement.
As far as I can ascertain, 190/1 were the only two Guys (buses, they had a Guy Big J recovery wagon, ex Huddersfield) operated by the PTE. Unless you know different!
