AEC/Hanson Regent/Regal III rebuild 361, TVH497, with Roe H37/28F body dating from 1961.
New in 1950 as Regal III 295, EVH807 with Duple FC33F body, Hanson had it rebuilt in 1954 with a more modern looking Plaxton front end and renumbered it 326. In 1961 the chassis was rebuilt by Hanson and a new Roe H37/28F body was fitted. Registered TVH497, 361 was the first front entrance decker in the Hanson fleet. Passing to Huddersfield Corporation in 1969 with the rest of the bus fleet it found its way to Thornes of Bubwith in 1970.
It is seen here still in Thornes livery but after having been bought for preservation.
This shot was taken at Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum and Henschell trolleybus Aachen 22 can just be seen alongside.
