Former Highland Omnibuses CD69, HGA981D, by now in the ownership of the Sutherland Transport & Trading Company, a Bedford VAS1 with Willowbrook B24FM bodywork, sits astride the railway tracks at Lairg whilst the driver loads mailbags off the mid-morning train from Inverness into the mail compartment at the back.
It had been new in May 1966 to David MacBrayne as their 208 and was acquired by Highland in 1971.
