Leeds 566, an ex-London Feltham which had been new to London United Tramways as 365 and then London Passenger Transport Board 2134, entered service in Leeds in March 1955 having been stored, prior to being prepared for service, since its arrival in July 1951. It is seen here in the yard at Churwell belonging to scrap dealer Johnson along with others.
It had been stored after withdrawal in October 1957, was moved here in April 1959, and was burnt in April shortly after this photograph was taken. The tram was built in 1931 by the Union Construction Company, Feltham, Middlesex and seated 42/28 the body being mounted on E.M.B. maximum traction bogies.
