Leeds 531, an ex-London Feltham, approaches Belle Isle on its journey from Crossgates (18) via the city centre and Middleton (12 Circular). This section of track was opened in 1949 to connect the Middleton terminus with the Belle Isle one. Built in 1931 by the Union Construction Company, Feltham, Middlesex, 531 seated 42/28 and the body was mounted on E.M.B. maximum traction bogies.
It had been new as Metropolitan Electric Tramways 362, becoming London Passenger Transport Board 2106 and entered service in Leeds in April 1951.
