Leeds 517 (former LPTB 2118) was one of three Felthams fitted with a pantograph in 1951. Following damage to overhead, the experiment was short-lived and they soon reverted to bow collectors.
I was told by the photographer (the late Roy Brooks) that he took this photo mid-afternoon after absconding from his brother's wedding reception. In hindsight, we are grateful he did, but no doubt his family felt otherwise!
