An evocative East End view with car 1088 about to bear right down the hill towards Parkhead following an SMT double decker and in the distance a Corporation bus heads towards Carntyne, beyond the railway bridge.
Nothing in this view has survived apart from the road junction , slightly altered, and of course 1088 which is now residing in Riverside Museum, Glasgow. The skate on the overhead would change the points for trams turning at Dennistoun, the crossover was adjacent to the Corporation bus.
