Gateshead 10 seen at Beamish was reported as being new in August 1925 and remaining in service until 1951.
It had a Gateshead built body seating 48 on Brill 39E maximum traction bogies and passed to British Railways (Grimsby & Immingham) where it became number 26 and was withdrawn in 1961, after which it passed to the Crich Tramway Museum in 1963, before finding its way to Beamish.
It is being followed in this shot by 1.
