Blackpool Tram 703 was one of the "Balloon" trams, built by English Electric. As 240, she entered service in September 1934. This batch was delivered as open-toppers, being enclosed to meet wartime needs.
She was renumbered, with the rest of the fleet, in 1968. She is seen at the Ferry Terminus in Fleetwood on a dull afternoon in September 1969, but the single decker (I think it's one of the Coronations) will go first.
