Hardwick Motors was another of Wallace Arnold's subsidiaries from 1952 and, being based in the Scarborough area, gave WA a good foothold for local excursion licences. RUA294 and SUA296 were both all-Leyland PD2/12s of 1953/1954 respectively.
Hardwick's operated a stage-carriage service between Scarborough and Ebberston on the attractive Forge Valley route until the company was sold to East Yorkshire in 1987.
