Two 1960s deckers each in their way icons of their type. Nearest the camera is Stockport 34, FDB334C, a 1965 example of their standard bus at the time, the Leyland Titan PD2/40 with East Lancs bodywork.
Next to 34 is London Transport RM1414, 414CLT, which is two years older than the Titan. When new it was demonstrated to Manchester Corporation Transport Department but no orders ensued. Both vehicles are seen at the Museum of Transport in Manchester
