Leeds 574, 574CNW, was one of five Roe forward-entrance Daimler CVG6LXs introduced for the joint Leeds-Bradford service 72 in 1962.
To the delight of passengers, its performance up Stanningley Road (its old 72 stamping ground) was unmatched. Here it takes a break opposite the site of the erstwhile Bramley tram/bus depot, before heading back to the city and Thwaite Mill. Note the Ultimate ticket machine which issued Leeds (Metro) tickets en-route.
