Star of the day at the Keighley Bus Museum Open Day was 1934-vintage Leeds Regent 139, ANW682, making an amazing contrast with Arriva London North's "Borisbus" LT2, LT61BHT, now on loan to First West Yorkshire to promote an alternative to the Leeds trolleybus scheme.
The Regent operated a limited service, with a capacity limit of fifteen passengers in the lower saloon only. Although it "failed" on its first run it was soon back in service and performed admirably with the driver executing some fine gearbox skills.
