The erstwhile RM1214, 214CLT, leaving the Piece Hall in Halifax on another run up to the Sportsman's Arms at Ploughcroft.
Note the use of the single-dip headlight (I don't *think* it's a failed bulb!). LT were the last operator to use this feature, which was once common place. I know that Morecambe used to have difficulty when their Regent IIIs were being tested as they also had this arrangement and the testers needed to be reminded of the legislation. I'm not sure of the current position but I recall that the exemption only applied to PSVs so once a bus was preserved it had to be modified. I believe this RM is still a PSV however, in the Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee fleet.
