Burnley bought half cab saloons long after most operators had switched to underfloor engined types. This Leyland Tiger PS2/14, 41, CHG541, dates from 1954 and carries an East Lancs body.
Despite being out of date from new, this and several others like it had a normal life span with Burnley. In later years it was converted to one man operation hence the angled cab window. Skipton was one of the more distant places served by Burnley.
