On the last day of the tram service to Beeston, Leeds 213, a Horsfield tram built by Brush on a Peckham P.35 truck and seating 37/23 stands at the terminus, in Town Street, ready to return to Corn Exchange.
The Beeston route was, in its later years, restricted to use by Horsfield cars because of the requirement for air, magnetic and hand operated track brakes to be fitted due to the steepness of Beeston Hill which had a gradient of 1 in 11 and also bends to add to the hazards.
