A rare wartime shot of a Leeds AEC Regal with Weymann bodywork. 29, UG1023, was new in 1932 and seated 32.
After withdrawal in 1946 the chassis was bought by Rogers a Leeds coach proprietor who had it rebodied by Tower Coachworks. It was finally scrapped in the nineteen fifites.
Seen here at the Morley terminus in wartime khaki. The fact that it is in khaki makes dating the picture easier as it was one of the last buses to adopt this scheme in January 1943
