West Yorkshire PTE 8528, RWT528R, was from the final batch of Plaxton Derwent-bodied Leopards delivered to West Yorkshire PTE and was less than two years old when photographed on 28th January 1979 near Greenfield station.
Despite the wintry conditions it had successfully crossed the Pennines on the 365, a service originally operated by Hanson Buses which ran from Huddersfield to Oldham.
