Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside

Photo © John Stringer. Please do not re-post without permission.

United Automobile BGS7, 995CHN, a Bristol LL5G rebuild with ECW FB39C body, reconstructed and lengthened in 1957 from an earlier L5G bus and rebodied with an eight feet wide body on the 7ft. 6in chassis.
One of the classic Scarborough Seafront buses, seen at the Corner Cafe terminus in the North Bay prior to yet another steady trundle around the North Marine Drive to the 'South Sands' (Aquarium Top). Officially route 109, this was not displayed on these buses. Also in the background are a K-type, an LL and an LS, as well as a fine looking Standard 12 and a Wolseley 1500.
