Eastbourne Corporation Regent V 66, KHC366, after it had been pulled free from the building.
The crash occurred after the Regent had been struck a glancing blow by Southdown Beadle-Commer 20 (TUF20) forty yards before it crashed into a van which was emerging from the road alongside the pub and on into the building. Amazingly although several people were badly injured, there were no fatalities.
