An illustrated guide to the postwar Leyland Titan

Photo © Donald Hudson. Please do not re-post without permission.

Stanhope MS YUP6, a Leyland Titan PD2/10 built in 1958 with Roe bodywork.
Taken before the major changes to Bondgate, Bishop Auckland, took place. A United Bristol LS waits to load for Tow Law on route 10 and a Bond Bros (Reliance?) bound for Willington brings up the rear. Stanhope Motor Services and Weardale Motor Services were associated companies with a similar livery and successfully avoided being swallowed up by the likes of United and Northern and their successors.
