Seen in Huntingdon Street Bus Station in Nottingham is Barton, Chilwell 856, BRN290, which was a Leyland PD1/3 with a Burlingham FL27/26RD body, which had been new in 1949 as Ribble, Preston 2547, when it seated FCL27/22RD.
Ribble had renumbered it to 1250 in 1951 and altered it from FCL27/22RD to FL27/26RD in July 1955. Barton acquired it in March 1960. After withdrawal in 1964, it passed to Whiting (dealer), Bulwell for scrap.
